Starting pitcher Kaitlyn Montreal fulfilled his part of the bargain, helping the Amarillo Armadillos stymie the California Firehawks, 2-1. The last-place Firehawks have dropped 4 straight games.

Laser Show was the walk-off hero for Amarillo. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Armadillos right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
