Hepcats Prevail, 7-5, Over State College

Kansas City and State College took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.
No one was more impactful than Super Creek in the 7-5 Kansas City win over State College. Creek, who is tied for 8th in the MiLPBE with a .324 batting average, was 4 for 4 with 4 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Poe Poe, who is tied for 2nd in the MiLPBE in saves with 8, earned the win in relief. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 2.1 innings. He upped his record to 3-1.
Dominique Castillon, who leads the MiLPBE with a .960 OPS, took State College hurler Communist Daughter [BOT] deep in the bottom of the sixth. His 3-run home run put the Hepcats on top, 7-4. In all, Castillon had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.
"Feels good to get the job done," Castillon said after the game.
