Angle Slugs Scorpions to 13-6 Win
Launch Angle impressed in the 13-6 Death Valley win over Indianapolis. Angle, who is rated as the 13th best prospect by BNN, was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Guy Roussy, who finished 2nd in the Champions in wins with 17 in 2070, was the winner. He's now 3-0. The loser was Romeo McFlourish. Indianapolis drops to 5-6.

Bass Reeves had a big 2-run double for the Scorpions in the bottom of the second inning. With Death Valley leading 2-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from Romeo McFlourish, who led the Champions in saves with 17 in 2070, and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Scorpions ahead, 4-0.

"We got the victory," said Angle. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
