The Brew City Bears defeated the California Firehawks, 6-2. Shortstop Thomas Sankara deserved a large share of the credit. Sankara was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Bears. Brew City now has a record of 29-20 with the win.

In the first inning, Sankara had a 3-run home run for Brew City. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Bears on top, 3-0.

"Nice to keep our winning streak intact," said Sankara.
