Anchorage got a strong outing from Elijah Rosado as the Wheelers defeated the Amarillo Armadillos, 7-1, at The Burrow Presented By Frankie's Fun Bites. With the win, Anchorage upped its record to 30-19.
Anchorage used a clutch at-bat from Rex Jordan to capture the win. The center fielder hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the third inning to put the Wheelers ahead, 5-1. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"My gosh almighty, Elijah was tremendous," said Anchorage manager .
