The California Firehawks knocked off the Chicago Kingpins, 3-2, in Minor League PBE action at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. California pitcher and The United States, native David Sears had an outstanding performance. California reliever Massive Unit was the winner. His record is now 3-1. The losing pitcher was Bodhi Grizz. California now has a record of 34-16 with the win.

Clarke Maxx, who is tied for 4th in the MiLPBE in stolen bases with 29, had a direct impact on the outcome. Maxx contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the fifth inning to put California up, 2-1.
