Conditions were not ideal but Florida and Kansas City were able to put their game in the books.

Florida pitcher Daithi Kennedy-Senan did his part in helping his team defeat the Kansas City Hepcats, 6-1. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. The 4th-place Flamingos are now 24-26, the Hepcats 28-22.

McScootie Fortune, who is tied for 3rd in the MiLPBE in triples with 2, aided the Florida cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the fourth. For the game, the left fielder was 1 for 4 with a walk.
