Firehawks Win at Chicago, 3-2
|
The California Firehawks took Chicago pitcher Jazz Hands's best shot and still were able to claim a win at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. The final score had California getting past the Kingpins, 3-2. Hands went 8 innings and allowed 3 runs, striking out 6. Picking up his 5th save was 21-year old right-handed pitcher Carlos Krash. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for the Firehawks.
Deion Sandals had a direct impact on the outcome. Sandals contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the fourth inning to put California up, 2-0.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Chicago manager . "The effort was great."
