California Beats Brew City, 11-4

Getting a good performance from catcher Ivagotta Dumper, the California Firehawks defeated the Brew City Bears, 11-4. Dumper went 2 for 5 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for the Firehawks. With the victory, the Firehawks upped their record to 27-24.
Dumper had a key at-bat for California in the top of the first. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and gave California an early 3-0 lead.
"Enjoyed this one," Dumper told the California Gazette. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
