Hepcats Win at Chicago, 5-1
|
The Chicago Kingpins went down to defeat to Antone Ridgeford and his Kansas City teammates. The final score was 5-1 in favor of the Hepcats. Lieutenant Dudz closed the game out for Kansas City, earning his 7th save. Kansas City has an impressive 35-17 record.
The Hepcats got a big at-bat from left fielder Ford Lincoln-Mercury. For the game, Lincoln-Mercury was 1-4 with a home run. In the top of the second, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 15th home run of the season gave Kansas City a 1-0 lead.
