The State College Swift Steeds knocked off the Brew City Bears, 7-5, in Minor League PBE action at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. State College pitcher and Day Valley, California, native Mann Person had an outstanding performance. State College reliever Cass Silskrumblin picked up the win, upping his record to 6-3. Lots-o'-Heineken Bear [BOT] absorbed the loss. State College has run its win streak to 4 straight.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Gunnar Skovgaard came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Brew City pitcher Freddy Fordham [BOT], he hit a 1-0 cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting State College on top, 6-5.
