Hepcats Deal Lemurs 5-3 Loss
|
In the 5-3 Kansas City win over Louisville, the impact of James Ransome was substantial. Ransome, who is tied for 8th in the MiLPBE in triples with 1, went 3-4 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI. Kansas City reliever Skinster Mckinley was the winner. His record is now 2-2. Anne Dieu-le-Veut took the loss. The Lemurs, at 24-28, have lost 6 in a row.
Ransome had a game-changing triple in the top of the tenth. On a 2-2 fastball from Pedro Cerano Jr., he banged a 2-run triple to right, giving the Hepcats a 5-3 lead. It was the 1st triple of the year for Ransome.
"It was a solid team effort," said Ransome after the game.
