Amarillo rode a good effort from starter Guess Who to beat the California Firehawks at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons. The final score was 4-2. Earning his 3rd save for Amarillo was Wayne Finch Summers. The first-place Armadillos have won 6 consecutive games.

Amarillo second baseman Sidney Hughes contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the second. With two down, he hit a slider into center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 67th hit of the season and put the Armadillos ahead, 3-0.

"Slowly but surely, the wins are piling up," said Hughes.
