Swift Steeds Lose Again, 6-5, to Wheelers
Anchorage beat State College at Count Longardeaux's Strong Badian Dictionary Fo' My Own Words Stadium, eking out a 6-5 win. The win was due in large part to third baseman Austen Webb. He was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Anchorage has now reeled off 7 straight wins.

Webb had a big hit for Anchorage with one out in the top of the sixth. With Anchorage trailing 2-0, Webb hit a 3-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Wheelers up, 3-2.
