Benefiting from Wakko Warner's productive game, the Amarillo Armadillos downed the California Firehawks, 11-9. Warner was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for the Armadillos. With the win, Amarillo raised its record to 31-22.

In the bottom of the seventh, the Armadillos grabbed the lead when Warner hit his 7th home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Ichiban Kasuga made it 11-8, Amarillo.

"I had some good swings out there," said Warner.
