The Kansas City Hepcats racked up a win at Taylor Swift is Hard Mid Eras Tour 2.0, bumping off the State College Swift Steeds , 7-4. A Bird, who started for Kansas City, pitched effectively for his team. The third-place Hepcats now sit at 30-23.
Gandalf the Grey drew 1 walk for Kansas City. The 21-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the eighth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Froggy Dubois. It was his 22nd RBI of the season.
"No complaints from me," said Hepcats manager . "I like what I saw out there."
