Hepcats Get Extra-Inning, 5-4 Win

Both teams had their chances, but the Kansas City Hepcats eventually prevailed.
Kansas City parlayed a decent outing from starter Christian Summers into a solid win over the State College Swift Steeds . The final score was 5-4. The Hepcats are now 31-23, while the Swift Steeds fall to 24-30.
The game was at a stalemate until first baseman Air Yordong came to bat in the top of the 11th. Facing State College pitcher Cass Silskrumblin, he hit a 1-0 cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Kansas City on top, 5-4.
"We had a good game plan," Summers said, "and we were able to execute it."
