Armadillos Get One-Run Win at Anchorage
The Amarillo Armadillos did just enough to secure a victory over the Anchorage Wheelers, 4-3, at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo. Nobody did more than pitcher Matt Hunter. Hunter got the win, improving to 5-6. He allowed 4 hits and walked 3 over 5 innings. Hunter allowed 2 runs. Getting the save was IKEA BLÅHAJ, his 5th.

The Armadillos benefited from a costly error in the top of the fifth. With Firefly Boy at bat and Amarillo leading 3-2, the Anchorage miscue allowed Amarillo to plate 1 and take the lead, 4-2.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Hunter.

Amarillo is now 24-30, while Anchorage is 23-31.
