Due in large part to center fielder Axel Babineaux, the Amarillo Armadillos sunk the Anchorage Wheelers, 5-2. Babineaux went 1-1 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The loss makes Anchorage 24-30.

Babineaux got the Armadillos off to a quick start. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Babineaux told the Amarillo News.
