Stitcherson goes 4-for-4 to Fuel Bears Offense
|
The Brew City Bears defeated the Florida Flamingos, 4-3, at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. Brew City second baseman Vumion Stitcherson had a superb performance. He went 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Brew City starter Joseph Kelley was credited with the win after throwing 92 pitches over 9 innings. His record now stands at 4-1. The Bears improved their record to 36-19 by beating Florida.
Stitcherson contributed in the bottom of the third. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Brew City get the win.
