Whacker Shines in 13-7 State College Win
Willy Whacker was a major factor in the 13-7 State College win over Kansas City. The Swift Steeds third baseman was 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 6. By defeating Kansas City, the second-place Swift Steeds improved to 32-24.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Swift Steeds grabbed the lead when Whacker hit his 13th home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Jofre Pines made it 8-7, State College.
