The Brew City Bears topped the Florida Flamingos, 4-3, in 13 innings at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. The game was highlighted by the performance of Brew City pitcher Xavier Zickafoose. The win belonged to Masahiro Sato in relief. His record improves to 5-3. Junior O'Callaghan took the loss for Florida. With the win, Brew City upped its record to 37-19.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the 13th, an error by the Flamingos allowed the Bears to score the winning run.
Zickafoose attributed the win to his team's "tenacity."
