Swift Steeds Pin 7-1 Loss on Florida
|
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the State College Swift Steeds and Florida Flamingos.
State College designated hitter Turd Ferguson contributed significantly to his team's 7-1 win over the Florida Flamingos. Ferguson, who is tied for 7th in the MiLPBE with a .400 on-base percentage, went 2 for 3 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Swift Steeds . The triumph puts State College at 31-26 for the season.
Early in the game, Ferguson had a 2-run home run for State College. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Swift Steeds on top, 2-0.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Ferguson.
