7-0 Loss Extends Anchorage Losing Streak
|
Anchorage had no answer for Chicago Kingpins starter Osaki Rinji, who flummoxed Wheelers hitters as the Kingpins cruised to victory, 7-0. Rinji, the winner, moves to 2-5. He threw 6.1 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 1 walk. The Wheelers have now dropped 6 straight.
With two out in the bottom of the fourth, Dylan Penley barreled up a curveball from Harlem Moncrief. The result was a 2-run home run, putting the Kingpins in front, 3-0.
"We had a nice day," said Chicago skipper .
