At Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo, the Anchorage Wheelers and Florida Flamingos were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Florida Flamingos and starting pitcher Justin Izzo stifled the Anchorage offense en route to a comfortable 9-2 win at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo. The winner was Izzo. He threw 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Roomba Macintosh.

Luca was 3-5 with 3 singles for Florida. The 24-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring single off Roomba Macintosh. It was his 69th hit of the season.

"We didn't pitch good, and when you don't pitch good, you lose," said Anchorage manager .

The Flamingos have an impressive 36-22 record.
