The Brew City Bears and Louisville Lemurs provided some drama for the home crowd.

Due in large part to first baseman Cal Covid, the Louisville Lemurs sunk the Brew City Bears, 8-7. Covid went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The winner was Griff Manzer, who threw 103 pitches over 6.1 innings. The left-hander was charged with 5 runs on 7 hits.

With Louisville trailing 4-3 in the top of the fifth, Covid hit a 2-run single off Brew City hurler Shota Takahashi. It was the 73rd hit of the season for Covid and put his team ahead, 5-4.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Brew City manager .

The victory gives Louisville a record of 34-24.
