Hepcats Lose to Swift Steeds in Walk-Off
The State College Swift Steeds downed the Kansas City Hepcats, 7-5. The hitting star was left fielder Bazooka Slow. Slow went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Swift Steeds . Newt U Wertrouble [BOT] earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 3 innings. He upped his record to 1-2. The setback makes Kansas City 24-34.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With State College trailing 5-3, Slow jumped on a fastball from 21-year old left-handed pitcher Justin Ferb and hit a grand slam home run to left. With one swing, the Swift Steeds had a walk-off win.

"What a buzz," said Slow after it was over.
