The Kansas City Hepcats beat the Amarillo Armadillos, 6-5, at The Evil Dictator x Jose Forty-Three Best Friendship Ballpark. The Hepcats got a fine performance from first baseman Ford Lincoln-Mercury, who went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Kanye West earned the save, his 2nd, for the Hepcats. The last-place Hepcats are 21-37.

Early in the game, Lincoln-Mercury had a 2-run home run for Kansas City. It was his 15th home run of the season and put the Hepcats on top, 2-1.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Lincoln-Mercury told a Kansas City Herald reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
