In the 9-7 Kansas City win over Louisville, the impact of Theodor Geisel was substantial. Had Air Yordong not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Yordong hit a 2-run single. That made the score 9-7, in favor of the Hepcats.
