|
The Chicago Kingpins picked up a win at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium, courtesy of Chudigal Son. The left-hander helped his team stop the Amarillo Armadillos, 3-2. The Kingpins saw their record improve to 29-30.
The Kingpins got a big at-bat from second baseman Troy Monopolitzki. For the game, Monopolitzki went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Chicago a 3-2 lead.
"Really good pitchers have that ability to raise their game when they need to," said Chicago manager .
