Starting pitcher Elijah Miller pitched well enough to help the Kansas City Hepcats beat the Louisville Lemurs, 5-4. With the win, Kansas City raised its record to 34-25.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Kansas City. That's when Jacopo Reddick hit a 2-run home run off 20-year old left-handed pitcher John Waffle to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Reddick said.
