5-4 Loss to Swift Steeds Extends Chicago Losing Streak
The State College Swift Steeds did just enough to secure a victory over the Chicago Kingpins, 5-4, at Count Longardeaux's Strong Badian Dictionary Fo' My Own Words Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Archie Richards. Richards picked up the win for State College, going 7 innings. He gave up no runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 7-4. Nero Mantics was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 6 of 6 save opportunities.

Bageshwari Singh dealt the Kingpins a blow in the bottom of the fourth. Batting with runners on 1st and 2nd and State College leading 4-0, Singh, who is tied for 9th in the MiLPBE in hits with 76, hit a 2-2 circle change for a run-scoring double.

"I made some pitches when I had to," said Richards.

The losses continue to mount for Chicago, which has now dropped 6 in a row.
