The Brew City Bears picked up a win at Kay Faraday Memorial Stadium, knocking off the Puerto Rico Ranas, 8-7, in 10 innings. On the mound for Brew City was left-hander Shota Takahashi. He played a pivotal role in the triumph. Brew City reliever "Fire" Aaron Boone got the win, raising his record to 4-2. Kerr Mitt [BOT] was tagged with the loss. Brew City is now 37-24. Puerto Rico is 13-48.

The game was at a stalemate until right fielder Jared Keeso came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Puerto Rico pitcher Kerr Mitt [BOT], he hit a 2-2 cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Brew City on top, 8-7.

"Sometimes winning takes more than 27 outs," said Bears manager .
