The Amarillo Armadillos powered past the Puerto Rico Ranas, 10-3, at Kay Faraday Memorial Stadium. Ben Martin went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times, to lead the charge. The win gives Amarillo a season record of 36-25.
Amarillo used a well-timed hit by Chorizo McTater to capture the win. The catcher socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Armadillos ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
