State College Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Swift Steeds grabbed a win, 4-3, at Count Longardeaux's Strong Badian Dictionary Fo' My Own Words Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Florida pitcher Sigandi Legend. Legend went 5.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. State College is in third place in the East Division with a record of 27-34.

Akshay Hrishikesh was the walk-off hero for State College. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Swift Steeds center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Hrishikesh said.
