Anchorage Sent Home with 6-4 Loss

The Brew City Bears had to overcome a big game from Anchorage first baseman Cameron Squires to leave Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House with a victory. And they did, winning, 6-4. Squires went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. Aoife Carter, who is tied for 3rd in the MiLPBE in wins with 8, was the winner. He's now 8-4. The loser was Wham A Geddon. The Pizzanator III was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 13 of 14 save opportunities.
Handel Aldi's Nuts, who is tied for 9th in the MiLPBE in hits with 80, helped out the Brew City cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the third baseman was 1 for 4.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Aldi's Nuts said.
The Brew City winning streak has reached 3 games.
