The Louisville Lemurs weathered an outstanding game by Anchorage second baseman Dee Fernandez Jr. to topple the Wheelers, 5-4. Fernandez Jr. was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Louisville reliever Colby Renslow picked up the win, upping his record to 2-3. Mac N Cheese absorbed the loss. The loss makes Anchorage 38-24.

The Lemurs beat the Wheelers in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out single Cal Covid produced in the bottom of the seventh. Batting against George Fantobens, Covid gave his team the lead, 5-4, when he hit a 2-run single.

"Very pleased with the effort on our side," said Covid.
