Swift Steeds 8-3 Winners Versus Florida
The State College Swift Steeds picked up a win at Florida Man Park, knocking off the Florida Flamingos, 8-3. On the mound for State College was left-hander Froggy Dubois. He played a key role in the triumph. The winner was Dubois. He threw 6.1 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Doc Rock. With the win, State College raised its record to 36-27.

State College used a well-timed hit by Brian Taylor to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Swift Steeds ahead, 4-1. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.
