3-1 Loss Extends Chicago Skid
|
Brew City Bears starter Mac John pitched his team past the Chicago Kingpins, 3-1. Erik Mander recorded the save, his 4th. Chicago has now lost 8 in a row.
Brew City used the bat of Cliff Plante to capture the win. The second baseman jacked a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Bears ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Brew City manager . "Our pregame was pretty good."
