Tight Tilt Goes to Raptors, 4-3
|
The Providence Crabs got a sterling performance from pitcher James Daly, but the Boise Raptors still prevailed, 4-3. Daly threw 5.2 innings allowing 4 runs. Ylephobia Aball, credited with the win, is now 2-0. He allowed no runs on 2 hits. The Phantom closed it out for his 3rd save.
The Raptors got a big at-bat from left fielder Udo Bonga. For the game, Bonga went 2 for 5 with 2 doubles. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 5th double of the season gave Boise a 4-3 lead.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Bonga said.
The Crabs fall to 4-8 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2067 season.
