Bears Deal Firehawks 5-2 Loss
The California Firehawks got a superb performance from pitcher Massive Unit, but the Brew City Bears still won the game, 5-2. Unit threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball. Brew City reliever Winnie the Pabst [BOT] snagged the win, upping his record to 4-1. Ichiban Kasuga shouldered the loss. Brew City raised its record to 35-29 with the win.

Gary the Giraffe came through with a big-time hit for Brew City. The catcher smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the 11th inning to give his team the lead, 4-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Just glad I could help us get a win," said Giraffe.
