Bears Stay Hot with Extra-Inning Win
The Brew City Bears topped the State College Swift Steeds by a score of 7-4 in 11 innings. Leading the way was designated hitter Srevor Tory. Tory was 2-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Bears. The win was credited to 23-year old right-handed pitcher Pedro Papelbottom in relief. His record improves to 4-1. Cass Silskrumblin took the loss. State College has now lost 4 consecutive games.

Tory had a game-changing home run in the top of the 11th. On a 2-2 sinker from Froggy Dubois, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Bears a 7-4 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Tory.

"This is a very good team," said Tory. "We have the chance to do something special."
