Firehawks Win, 7-1, at Kansas City
|
The California Firehawks topped the Kansas City Hepcats, 7-1, with left fielder Deion Sandals playing a big role. Sandals was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Firehawks in the win. Thor Lore, the winner, improved to 7-4. He held Kansas City to 1 run on 5 hits over 6 innings, while racking up 6 strikeouts. California now has a 5-game win streak.
