Hrishikesh Goes Deep Twice in 6-4 Swift Steeds Win
The State College Swift Steeds grabbed a win, 6-4, over the California Firehawks at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons. State College center fielder Akshay Hrishikesh was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. State College currently is in 4th place in the East Division at 28-37.

Hrishikesh contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for State College in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 2-1, Hrishikesh took a slider from Chuck Nasty and stroked the home run to left-center. His 9th home run of the season allowed the Swift Steeds to leap in front, 3-2.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Hrishikesh told a State College Citizen reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
