Starting pitcher Warren Peace had a solid game. He was a big reason the Anchorage Wheelers throttled the Puerto Rico Ranas, 4-2. The winner in relief was Reed Rothchild. He is now 3-3. The left-hander allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 3.1 innings. Puerto Rico is in the throes of a 12-game losing streak.

Had Jackson Love not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Love hit a 2-run single. That made the score 4-2, in favor of the Wheelers.
