Hepcats Upend Flamingos, 7-0
|
Kansas City Hepcats pitcher Antone Ridgeford was in fine form, leading his team past the Florida Flamingos, 7-0. The Hepcats are now 36-30, while the Flamingos fall to 38-28.
Kansas City used the bat of A.J. Justice to capture the win. The first baseman jacked a grand slam home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Hepcats ahead, 7-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
"Antone did a tremendous job," said Kansas City manager .
