Amarillo Armadillos starter Flop Quads was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Brew City Bears, 1-0. Earning his 1st save for Amarillo was Amos Rich. Amarillo has an impressive 46-20 record.

Amarillo used the timely hitting of Sand Shrew to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Armadillos on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
