Hepcats Take Tight Tangle

Brew City second baseman Vumion Stitcherson had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 6-5, to Kansas City at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. Stitcherson slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The Hepcats, at 37-30, have now won 7 straight.
Had Klemen Kamenik not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Kamenik hit a 2-run single. That made the score 6-4, in favor of the Hepcats.
"The vibe's good," said Kansas City manager . "We've got to keep it going."
