Brew City beat Anchorage on the strength of starter Professor Croakwell's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 6-3. The loss makes Anchorage 30-37.

Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House seemed to enjoy watching the Minor League PBE action.

"We had a good game plan," Croakwell said, "and we were able to execute it."
