The Louisville Lemurs got a good effort from starter Michel de Nostredame in defeating the Puerto Rico Ranas at Kay Faraday Memorial Stadium. The final score was 3-1. Louisville reliever Istruckout Fetty [BOT] picked up the win, raising his record to 3-0. Jerry Berry [BOT] was tagged with the loss. The defeat makes Puerto Rico 18-50.
Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Diego Machado? The 21-year old third baseman Machado stroked a 2-run single in the top of the 12th inning to put Louisville up, 3-1. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.
