Wheelers Win at California, 3-0

The Anchorage Wheelers went home winners at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons, thanks in large part to starter Scud Muffin. Muffin stifled the California Firehawks, enabling Anchorage to grab the 3-0 win. In 7.1 innings, Muffin surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. He allowed no runs. With the win, Anchorage pushed its record to 41-27.
Enrique Checo had a direct impact on the outcome. Checo contributed a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the top of the first inning to put Anchorage up, 3-0.
