Fans who congregated at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo were treated to extra-inning drama.

The Puerto Rico Ranas beat the Anchorage Wheelers, 8-6, at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo. Pcott Soe, in particular, was impressive. He was 4-5 with a home run, a triple, and a double. He scored 2 times. Jerry Berry earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2 innings. His record is now 2-5.

Puerto Rico needed the clutch hitting of Daddy Blaney to notch the win. The designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Ranas on top, 8-6. For the game, Blaney had 1 home run and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Blaney said after the game.

The Ranas now have a record of 21-49.
