|
Ima DudeMan, who is tied for 2nd in the MiLPBE in complete games with 1, propelled his team to victory over the Kansas City Hepcats. The final score was 4-3, California. California is now 35-35, Kansas City 35-35.
Had Slim Mahogany not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Mahogany hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Firehawks.
"Nice win for us," said Mahogany. "Now we'll go after the next one."
