Mizushima Powers Swift Steeds to 6-3 Win
|
The State College Swift Steeds topped the Brew City Bears, 6-3, the lion's share of the credit going to first baseman Kota Mizushima. On the day, Mizushima went 4 for 4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times for the Swift Steeds . State College, at 46-24, is 6 games up in the East Division.
Also pitching-in was State College left fielder Edward Mackinlay, who hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth. For the game, Mackinlay was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
