Napoleon Solo helped his team muscle past the Death Valley Scorpions, 6-4. In the game, the Cancun right fielder went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 2. Lizzie WOOOOHOOOO earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record is now 2-0. The Toros, now 11-2, have been on fire in the early going.
Cancun used the timely hitting of Tiernan O'Malrain to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Toros on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
Cancun manager commended his team for "banging out a nice win."
