Bears Drop Firehawks, 3-2, with Late Score

The Brew City Bears topped the California Firehawks, 3-2, in Minor League PBE action at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons. The standout performance belonged to Brew City pitcher and Palmyra, New York, native Brigham Irons. Brew City pitcher Lots-o'-Heineken Bear got the win, upping his record to 6-1. Capsaicin Shrub got the loss. With the win, Brew City pushed its record to 45-25.
Sting Eucliffe, who is tied for 8th in the MiLPBE in extra base hits with 22, helped out the Brew City cause in the top of the fifth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the second baseman was 1 for 4.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Eucliffe said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
