Wheelers Topple Bears with Late Rally
The Anchorage Wheelers went home winners at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo, thanks in large part to starter Goaty McGoatFace. McGoatFace stifled the Brew City Bears, enabling Anchorage to grab the 3-1 win. Anchorage reliever Richard Dick picked up the win, upping his record to 2-5. Erik Mander took the loss. Today's win puts Anchorage at 36-34, while Brew City falls to 33-37.

Anchorage took a 3-1 lead on Hogfeather Jones's 15th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Brew City pitcher Paj Bobba in the bottom of the eighth.

"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," McGoatFace said.
