The Kansas City Hepcats beat the California Firehawks, 8-6, at Center for Kansas City Kids That Can't Read Good. Gandalf the Grey, in particular, was impressive. He went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. Kansas City pitcher Porygon Two got the win. He's now 2-1. MiPBE Champions Season 31 [BOT] was tagged with the loss.

Martin Walker helped out the Kansas City cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the second baseman drew 1 walk.
