The Anchorage Wheelers picked up a win at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo, taking down the Brew City Bears, 5-4. Starting pitcher Warren Peace was a big reason why. Peace, the winner, moves to 10-3. He threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 2 and giving up 3 walks. Reed Rothchild finished to wrap up his 4th save.

Himiko Toga, who leads the MiLPBE in triples with 3, aided the Anchorage cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third. For the game, the catcher went 1-2 with a walk, while scoring 2 times.

"It's a mindset," said Peace. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."

The win lifted the Anchorage record to 37-34.
