|
State College pitcher Chicken Noods did his part in helping his team beat the Brew City Bears, 5-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. State College reliever Blonde345 picked up the win, upping his record to 4-3. Bryce Wheeler was saddled with the loss. The East Division-leading Swift Steeds have a record of 47-24.
State College used a clutch hit from Mike Pizzaman to snatch the win. The third baseman belted a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Swift Steeds ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit, but it was huge.
"I still think this team can play even better," Pizzaman told the State College News.
