Kingpins Pull Off Thrilling 4-3 Win in Extras
|
Chicago and Florida duked it out and the Kingpins came out victorious.
Chicago starter Nicholas Huizenga pitched well against the Florida Flamingos at Florida Man Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. After today's action, Chicago sits at 31-41; Florida slips to 44-28.
Chicago third baseman Dylan Penley contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fourth. With two down, he hit a sinker into right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 75th hit of the season and put the Kingpins ahead, 1-0.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Florida skipper , "and it cost us."
