The Amarillo Armadillos defeated the State College Swift Steeds , 6-4, at The Burrow Presented by the PBE Bigger Strange Pod today. Leading the charge for Amarillo was shortstop Marcus Otatop. He was 2-3 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Reliever Gritty picked up the win. His record improves to 1-3. Jackson Ramirez took the loss. Amarillo is now 30-42. State College is 39-33.

Otatop contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Amarillo in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 4-3, Otatop took a fastball from Jackson Ramirez and stroked the home run to right. His 8th home run of the season allowed the Armadillos to leap in front, 5-4.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Otatop.
