The Puerto Rico Ranas stopped the Amarillo Armadillos, 7-5, at Kay Faraday Memorial Stadium. The Ranas got a big game from Jeremiah Bullfrog, who went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs. Jean-Jacques François Jacques-Jean, who went 5.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 3 runs on 8 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 2. His record now stands at 7-4. The triumph makes Puerto Rico 23-50.
Steele Stern, who is tied for 5th in the MiLPBE in doubles with 13, aided the Puerto Rico cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third. For the game, the shortstop was 1-4.
