The Louisville Lemurs took on the Amarillo Armadillos at The Burrow Presented By Frankie's Fun Bites.

The Louisville Lemurs scored a convincing win at The Burrow Presented By Frankie's Fun Bites, defeating the Amarillo Armadillos, 11-3. One of the hitting stars was 23-year old catcher Cal Covid who was 2-3 with a home run and 3 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Pim Pimling was the winner. He's now 10-3. The loser was 23-year old right-handed pitcher Marsh Mellow Jr..

With Louisville leading 7-3 in the top of the eighth, Covid batted against Amarillo pitcher Rene-Antoine LePouvoirs. Covid hit a fastball to left for a 3-run home run. His 5th home run of the season put the Lemurs on top, 10-3.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Covid.
