New York Earns 4-3 Win
|
The New York Voyagers earned a win at The Power House, knocking off the Buffalo Surge, 4-3. On the bump for New York was left-hander Joey Moose Jr.. He had a starring role in the triumph. Ransom Jones snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 2.2 innings. He's now 2-1 on the season. Big Rooster earned the save, his 2nd, for the Voyagers.
New York took the lead, 4-3, on Moe Scatoes's 3rd home run of the season. The solo home run came off Buffalo pitcher Akio de Los Santos in the top of the tenth.
"The game of baseball will test you," said , the New York skipper. "This one tested us."
Buffalo, at 3-10, is off to a poor start in 2074.
