Hepcats Rally to Eke Out Win
The Amarillo Armadillos got a superb performance from pitcher Matt Hunter. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Kansas City. The Hepcats won the game, 4-3. Hunter threw 5.1 innings of shutout ball. Kansas City reliever Definitelynot Kevinchoate picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Amos Rich was saddled with the loss. The win elevated the Hepcats to 46-28.

The Hepcats relied on first baseman A.J. Justice for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 13th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring double to seal the deal.

Justice told a Kansas City Observer reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
